Hi Jem

The team working on your request have asked me, under section 15(1AA) of the Official Information Act, to clarify the scope of your request.

They particularly wanted to know what you considered “all papers” to mean. Does this mean all aide memoires, cabinet papers and briefings for Ministers, or does it also include all correspondence (internal, between agencies etc)? The former is a manageable request, the latter definition would be more difficult as it brings emails into scope.

Can you please advise? We’ll place the request on hold until we hear back from you.
