Tena koe Sarah Webster,

Your response is very disappointing. As I understand it, your minister holds the official delegation for sexual health - and such issues as HIV/AIDS and transgender healthcare would fall under her responsibility.

Both the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance have made public statements affirming the importance of these issues and there has been a great deal of media coverage during the last twelve months.

This suggests a significant public interest in the document mentioned which would outweigh the reason cited for withholding the advice.

Please reconsider urgently or I will have to lodge a complaint with the Ombudsman.

Nga mihi,

Jem Traylen

Thank you for sending me the document today. I accept that the problem was a rather unfortunate breakdown in communications. I appreciate your support of the Rainbow community and transgender people in particular and I look forward to a more constructive engagement with your office going forward.
