to major/overarching policies, procedures and processes. This is because
the amount of information you are asking for would be substantial, and
likely be declined under section … 18(f) of the Act, because it would
involve substantial research and collation. There are hundreds of related
documents, and we would likely have to charge for the information given
this.

Dear Mr Hawke
I trust you received the email from us below. As I have not heard from
you, and the request is for a large amount of information, I am extending
the timeframe for providing you with a response by 20 working days under
section 15A(1)(b) of the Act as “consultations necessary to make a
decision on the request are such that a proper response to the request
cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.”
A response is now due by 7 October 2016 . I will endeavour to provide a
decision on your request as soon as possible within this timeframe. You
have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review this decision to extend the
time frame.
