Kia ora James,

Part Transfer IRC-7133

I’m just taking the opportunity to update you regarding your request
below, in particular question two in relation to bus statistics.

2. Any figures you hold measuring the number of buses and/or bus users
travelling past the Basin Reserve each day (or other time period if that
is not possible).

We have formally transferred this part of your request to the Greater
Wellington Regional Council as the information requested is believed to be
more closely connected with them for response. In these circumstances, we
are required under section 12 of the Act to transfer your request.

As we have transferred this request, it is effectively a new request made
to that agency under the Act and the working day count, in terms of
maximum time for making and communicating a decision begins again.

Your remaining request, questions one and three, will remain with the
Council for response, and we will be in touch in due course.

Right of review

If you are not satisfied with the Council’s response, you may request the
Office of the Ombudsman to investigate the Council’s decision. Further
information is available on the Ombudsman website,
[1]www.ombudsman.parliament.nz.

Thank you for your time,

Kind regards
