I refer to your email dated 19 September 2024 to Te Kaunihera o Pōneke | Wellington City Council
(the Council) requesting the following information:
1. Any figures you hold measuring the number of cyclists travelling past the Basin Reserve each
day (or other time period if that is not possible).
2. Any figures you hold measuring the number of buses and/or bus users travelling past the
Basin Reserve each day (or other time period if that is not possible).
3. Any figures you hold measuring the number of motor vehicles travel ing past the Basin
Reserve each day (or other time period if that is not possible).
I am interested in any figures you hold from 1 November 2022 to 19 September 2024.
Your request has been considered under the Local Government Of icial Information and Meetings Act
1987 (LGOIMA). Please find our response below:
Question 1 –
Any figures you hold measuring the number of cyclists travelling past the Basin
Reserve each day (or other time period if that is not possible).
Provided with this response are three spreadsheets detailing this information you have requested.
Please note, the data we hold with respect to 2024 is limited until June 2024.
Question 2 -
Any figures you hold measuring the number of buses and/or bus users travelling past
the Basin Reserve each day (or other time period if that is not possible).
As confirmed via email on 27 September 2024, question two of your request was transferred to the
Greater Wellington Regional Council as the information requested is believed to be more closely
connected with them for response.
Question 3 -
Any figures you hold measuring the number of motor vehicles travel ing past the Basin
Reserve each day (or other time period if that is not possible).
