Guildford Timber Company

Council’s arrangements with Guildford Timber Company in relation to the
Silverstream Spur were discussed at workshops on 9 December 2020, 9 April
2021, and 20 July 2021.

 

9 December 2020 workshop

Copies of the presentation and memo for the 9 December 2020 workshops are
attached. The memo refers to a draft engagement report. This is the
December 2020 ‘Public Engagement Report: Strategic Objectives & Policies
for the Rural & Residential Chapters Review’ which is available on our
website.

 

We have also searched our electronic document management system for any
emails, notes or similar relating to these workshops. The documentation
located is attached.

 

9 April 2021 workshop

There was no report or presentation prepared for this workshop.  A copy of
the agenda is attached, along with the valuation discussed and a list of
previous meetings provided to the workshop.

There was no report or agenda prepared for this workshop.  A copy of the

Plan Changes for the Southern Growth Area and Silverstream Spur

Since 2020 the Southern Growth Area and Silverstream Spur have been
discussed more briefly at workshops in the context of Plan Changes 49 and
50 and as part of regular updates on the District Plan provided to
Councillors, which take the form of written reports and presentations.
Given the bulk of these reports and presentations are not relevant to your
request and in some cases the documentation is extremely lengthy, we have
only attached the relevant parts of the documents. Full copies are
available if you would prefer.

 

The Silverstream Spur and Southern Growth Area were addressed briefly in
the ‘Plan Change 50: Issues and Opportunities Engagement Report’ shared
with Councillors in a workshop on 30 June 2020. This document is publicly
available on our website.

 

A workshop held on 22 September 2020 addressed Plan Change 50. The
covering memo is attached. It refers to Attachment 9 and Attachment 10.
Appendix 9 is the ‘Outcomes and Methods for the Rural and Residential
Review – Rural Edition’ report which was open for submissions 30 September
2020 to 2 November 2020. Appendix 10 is the ‘Issues and Opportunities for
the Rural and Residential Review – Residential Edition’ report that was
open for submissions 16 March 2020 to 19 April 2020. Both of these
documents are publicly available on our website. The remainder of the
Attachments to the covering memo are not relevant to your request.

 

A workshop held on 2 March 2021 addressed Plan Change 49 and provided an
overview of feedback received during the December 2020 consultation
period. Feedback was received on Silverstream Spur although this was out
of scope of the Plan Change. The relevant excerpt from the memo and
presentation are attached. The attached officer’s notes of the meeting
were also located. 

 

Workshops held on 17 June 2022, 13 September 2022 and 9 May 2023 provided
updates on the District Plan review. The relevant slides referring to
Silverstream Spur in each presentation are attached.
