I am ok with GTC being in the same workshop but would like it to follow the other PC50 topics to
avoid it taking time away from the other items on the workshop agenda.

Subject: Council Workshop on Council-GTC MoU Draft S&P Agreements

Richard,

I note the paper that went to Policy yesterday referred to a workshop on 10 Dec, that was a typo
as we were planning on piggy backing onto the PC50 workshop scheduled for 9 Dec from 9-
12am.  I also note there is a Quarterly Update on the District Plan scheduled for later that week
on the Fri 11 Dec 1-4pm.

Can we use some of that time on the 9th for the MoU discussions on the draft sale and purchase
agreements. Any later and it would be really tight to reflect any changes in the paper that goes
before Council  the following week.  It is likely that these discussions could be protracted
between 60-90min so we may need to start around 8.30 to get it all done. So timings could be
tight on the day. Perhaps there is an option to push some of the PC50 discussions back to Fri 11
if timings were flexible?
Now to compound the issue we have the ELT Christmas lunch at Brewtown on 9 Dec between
12-2pm so extending the meeting could be problematic unless we look to shift the luncheon
back 60mins.

We will need to lock this down in a week or two so really for consideration by you and your team
on PC50.

I will also look to add the Council-GTC MoU onto our regular ELT meetings as an agenda item to
continue to work on the Sale and Purchase Agreements starting on 2 Nov.
Christmas can’t come fast enough!

Peter
