Kia ora Erika,

I am contacting you regarding the first portion of your OIA request - Please would you share any communications between you and The University of Auckland regarding Covid 19 and employment policies from Jan 2022 until the present time.

So that we can avoid providing you with information that may not be of any value to you, may I clarify with you if you are requesting all communications TEC has with UoA on anything Covid related, or if you are requesting communications to do with employment related to Covid-19?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Dear Ministerial Requests,
There are two questions
1. The University of Auckland regarding Covid 19 and employment policies from Jan 2022 until the present time.

2. Any health policies for university teaching facilities and university owned halls of residences or apartments for University of Auckland students from Nov/Dec 2021 until the present time. No these would not be employment related because students are not all university employees in halls of residence for example

Yours sincerely,

Erika Whittome

Dear Erika,

I refer to your request of Friday 25 August, as transferred to the University of Auckland. As consultations necessary to make a decision on your request are such that a response cannot reasonably be given within the original time limit, the University has extended the time limit for your request under section 15A(1) of the OIA. The new maximum time limit for the University's response is 12 October 2023; we will respond to your request as soon as reasonably practicable. You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are dissatisfied with this extension.

Yours sincerely,
