Department of Internal Affairs
Kia ora Justin,
After further advice, I must revert the transfer previously notified. Initial advice was that the Film and Literature Board of Review are a separate entity so should respond directly. This has now been updated. The Film and Literature Board are not included among the entities subject to the Official Information Act or Ombudsmen Act. The Department of Internal Affairs, which supports the board, is the appropriate entity to respond under the Official Information Act. I apologise for the confusion.
Your original OIA timeframe has been reinstated. The Department will provide its response to your request as soon as practicable and within twenty working days. The 20th working day is 9 December 2022

Dear Internal Affairs,
I dispute the fact you can not provide the written submissions and request a copy of those Submissions that fall under the Act. This should be Public information In cases of Media Film and Video Games.
I don't believe there is adequate reasons on why this request should be refused. In turn please confirm this is your final decision before I refer it to the ombudsman.
Also On Thursday, 24 November 2022 9:32 AM you received a Public statement noted on Page 13 of Miscellaneous.
"Public statement release in Regards to the Film and Literature Board of Review final Decision for
Publication the Last of Part 1.
Date: Thursday, 24 November 202"
I request copy of this as it wasn't included and would fall under my request and the Act.
Yours sincerely,
Justin
From: Film and Lit Board of Review

Kia ora Justin,
Please see attached for the public statement as requested.
In regards to the submissions, it our final decision that nothing related to the Board’s determination including submission and supplementary material has been released as it is subject to the tribunal exception to an organisation acting judicially.
