Dear Wellington City Council,
The Cambridge Terrace bus lane has intermittent markings but is monitored electronically for its entire length and tickets automatically issued.
Tickets seem to be being used to generate revenue, even when buses are not present on Cambridge Terrace, and when there is no congestion.
Please could you provide a breakdown of the number of tickets, and revenue collected for Cambridge Terrace bus lanes since the ticketing cameras were installed in 2025. Would like to see total ticket numbers issued, the number which were challenged and revoked, the number which were challenged and upheld, and the total revenue received from the tickets. Monthly data would be sufficient.
