Number of tickets issued by manned bus lane camera on Broadway

Mr Walker made this Official Information request to Auckland Transport

Response to this request is long overdue. By law Auckland Transport should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

From: Mr Walker

Dear Auckland Transport,

Following a telephone conversation with your staff on Monday the 10th of June, please provide me with the following information.

I would like to have records of when the manned camera ticketing vehicles using the bus lane on Broadway in Newmarket (stationed at approximately 476 Broadway, Epsom) was first implemented, a list of dates and times it has been implemented since, and a breakdown of how many tickets have been issued from this camera and any demographic information available on those ticketed. I would also like you to provide me with information on how many query and contest applications you have received for this camera, details on how many were upheld and how many were rejected and the number of formal complaints lodged against the aforementioned camera. Please provide the information requested along with a comparison to at least two other bus lane cameras within Auckland City and any further supplementary information you deem fit to include.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Walker

Dear Info (AT),

Currently with the Office of the Ombudsman for investigation. I believe it is unreasonable to demand this amount for the information requested and am confident the majority of New Zealander's would not be able to meet this demand also.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Walker
