Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,

I am writing to request any information about how flooding risk or stormwater issues were considered in The Strand Optimisation project. Essentially I am interested in knowing whether the project will improve flood resilience, and if not, whether this was considered at any point during the design process but decided against.

The information I seek should include, but not be limited to:

- Any section of the design report relating to stormwater management/flood risk
- Any entries in the design decision register relating to stormwater management/flood risk
- Any meeting minutes for meetings where stormwater management or flood risk was discussed
- The outputs of any stormwater modelling exercises or flood risk assessments, if they were done
- Any discussion of the cost implications of addressing flood risk through the project
- Any communications with Watercare or Auckland Council Healthy Waters department about stormwater management/flood risk within the project's extent
