Hi Dylan
Yes, erosion sediment control devices have been installed for our work on The Strand.
ASM monitors this area closely and would remove the devices if we thought they might cause flooding issues in a severe
under
weather event.
If heavy rainfall is forecast our Traffic Incident Management unit will go down to The Strand and ensure the devices are not
causing any additional flooding risk in the area.
Ngā mihi,
Hanna Walker on behalf of the SH16 Port area summer works project team

Happy new year NZTA team!
Are these sediment control devices part of The Stand road works?

There were further concerns from the Waitemata Local Board
about drains along The Strand, St Georges Bay and Gladstone
Roads being blocked as pictured. Do you know if the blocks
the
are from AT roadworks?

Hi Nick
Released
We received this customer service issue which I understand
should have gone through the Customers Service team for
logging. However, I am seeking your assistance and direction
as I think this might sit with Healthy Waters , if not, are
you able to point me in the right direction please?
I am noting that the constituent is keen on a regular
maintenance program being established, if there is not one
in place already.
Are you able to advise please?

seems what has not been taken into consideration is that
this work is on a flood plain To that end, what has been put
in place for any potential weather changes?
