Dear Official Information Requests,
Thank you kindly for the response.
As FENZ Deputy National Commander has publicly stated that “28 fire pumps are coming out to communities by Christmas,” I question the assertion that the information does not exist. I understand “delivering to communities” to mean that the appliances are ready to serve and protect the community, as they would not otherwise be considered part of the “community.”
I further ask,
* What are the type and quantity of vehicles arriving before Christmas for acceptance testing?
* Will the acceptance testing be done at a national level in a single location?
* Was any information held by FENZ at the time the public statement that could have informed the claim that 28 fire pumps would be delivered to communities by Christmas? if so please provide it
Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Harwood Wilson

Dear Official Information Requests,
Thank you for the response.
Regarding the Type 3 MAN trucks: as the document notes that all appliances are expected to be fully operational by March 2026 (column 3: “expected time to FENZ, NOT BRIGADE” and column 5: “expected completion March 2026”), I am unable to identify any reference indicating that “28 trucks are being delivered to communities before Christmas.”
I therefore finally ask -
• Was any additional information provided to the Deputy Chief Executive to support the statement that 28 trucks would be delivered to communities before Christmas?
If so, please supply it. If not, was the statement inaccurate?
• Has FENZ issued any correction to the public statement that 28 trucks would be delivered to communities before Christmas?
• Has the accuracy of this statement been reviewed to ensure alignment with FENZ values? If not, does the statement align with those values?
• Given that DCE Megan Stiffler describes herself as a career firefighter, has she visited any career stations, crews, or incidents involving career staff during 2025?
Yours sincerely,
Harwood Wilson
