Thank you for your email of 17 October 2025 to Fire and Emergency New Zealand requesting the 
following information under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA): 
 
•  Please detail what new appliances are to be delivered to brigades before Christmas Day 
2025. Include the appliance type and station / town they wil  be delivered to. 
 
We are currently reviewing our appliance delivery schedule and at this stage we are not able to 
confirm whether there will be any further appliance deliveries to brigades before 25 December 
2025. For this reason, your request is refused under section 18(e) of the OIA, as the document 
alleged to contain the information requested does not exist. 
 
However, please note that we wil  be receiving 30 appliances for acceptance testing between 
November 2025 and 25 December 2025. The locations of these appliances are still to be 
determined, and their delivery to brigades will be subject to satisfactory outcomes from the 
acceptance testing. 
 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision.
