Dear Auckland Transport,
On the 17th of January at approximately 7:40-7:50 there was a car accident involving myself (car registration HGQ373) and another car (registration KJZ513) at the intersection of Te Irirangi Drive & the motorway Exit 447 for Te Irirangi Drive traffic lights.
Is there any footage or information of the incident from any surrounding traffic cameras that you can share with me.
Eg. Manukau Sports Bowl Traffic Lights.

We are unable to provide you with the information you asked for
On 28/01/2021 you asked for CCTV footage.
I'm sorry to hear of the incident. We don't hold any footage relevant to
your request because we only hold footage for up to seven days. Footage
from 17 January 2021 had already been overwritten at the time of your
request on 28 January 2021. Your request is therefore refused under
section 17(e) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings
Act 1987 (LGOIMA), as the footage requested does not exist.
We understand that this isn’t the outcome you hoped for.
