Dear Auckland Transport,
I am writing to you requesting CCTV footage for 7:50am Tuesday 2 April, 2024 when me and my family were involved in a hit and run and we didn't get the license plate of the other other vehicle.
We were standing about to enter the Green Lane East roundabout from the SH1 offramp (southbound) when we were hit from behind. The driver did not pull over and I did not get a license plate. The damage to our car is $2000 and my children were quite upset and frightened by the whole incident.

We are unable to provide you with the information you asked for
On 6/04/2024 you asked for CCTV footage.
I'm sorry to hear of the incident. We don't have any CCTV cameras at the
location of the incident. Therefore, your request is refused under section
17(e) of the LGOIMA as the footage doesn't exist.
