Dear Auckland Transport,
I am writing to request street camera footage for an incident that occurred on Friday 28th August 2024 between 11:50am - 11:57am by the traffic lights of Ellerslie-Panmure Hwy on the corner of Harris rd.
During this time, I was involved in a car accident where my vehicle, a Black Mitsubishi Galant (PWY661) heading East of Ellerslie-Panmure Hwy was hit by another vehicle in a Red Nissan X-Trail (KTF120) turning out of Banks Rd onto Ellerslie-Panmure Hwy.
I am kindly requesting access to any available footage from the street cameras in the vicinity during the mentioned timeframe. Obtaining this footage could provide crucial evidence for resolving the matter.

We are unable to provide you with the information you asked for
On 24/08/2024 you asked for CCTV footage.
I'm sorry to hear of the incident. Our CCTV camera did not capture the
incident. Therefore, your request is refused under section 17(e) of the
LGOIMA as the footage of the incident does not exist.
We understand that this isn’t the outcome you hoped for.
