Official Information Act Request (PFR Ref. 0980.2.2.07.18)

I refer to your Official Information Act request received 20 July 2018 for
information related to, or provided by, Thompson and Clark Private
Investigations between the years 2014-2018 held by Plant & Food Research.

The Official Information Act states that we should advise you of our
decision on your request no later than 20 working days after the day we
received your request.

Unfortunately it will not be possible to meet that time limit and we are
therefore writing to notify you that we will need additional time to
consider your request. We now hope to reply by 24 August 2018.

This extension is necessary because your request requires us to consider a
substantial quantity of information.

You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of
this decision. Information on how to make a complaint is available at
www.ombudsman.parliament.nz.

If you wish to discuss any aspect of your request with us, including this
