All planning and analysis documents relating to traffic impact on the project to add lights to the intersection of SH2 and Moonshine road in Upper Hutt
Tim made this Official Information request to New Zealand Transport Agency
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Tim to read a recent response and update the status.
From: Tim
Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,
I see you have added new lights at the intersection of SH2 and Moonshine road. This seems to have created major traffic delays especially at peak hour in the afternoon from Wellington to Upper Hutt.
Here are 2 links about the project so we're on the same page with the change:
* https://www.beehive.govt.nz/release/sh2-...
* https://www.nzta.govt.nz/media-releases/...
My request is:
1. Please provide any and all analyses, predictions, or documentation you did on the impact on traffic at this intersection, both during the project and before the project - as part of a business case, impact analysis, or any other activity.
2. Please provide any and all analyses or documentation that you did of the actual impact on traffic after the traffic lights were turned on. This might be part of the project or might have been done outside the project.
3. Please provide all documents describing how you plan to monitor and change the traffic light sequencing to manage the traffic going through this intersection, and how you've currently configured the light sequencing.
Yours faithfully,
Tim
