Dear Police,

I am highly concerned about your response to my Official Information Act request.

- My request was first made on November 12, 2025.
- Hon Mitchell extended the timeframe to 29 January.

You are now informing me that the information will not be released to me on 29 January as lawfully required.

Furthermore, you have provided a vague statement regarding your intentions.

I request to know the legal grounds for your decision to not provide the information in accordance with the timeframe set out in the Official Information Act. Which section are you relying on to push the deadline out further?

Yours sincerely,

R S Bicknell
