How did you become aware of X account @Charteddaily’s post on violent crime - who informed you and your office of the post? How did you become aware of the X account @Charteddaily?
Have you or any of your staff sent or received any messages to and from X user @Charteddaily
I request a copy of all internal instant communications between you and your office regarding X account @Charteddaily post and the violent crime data referred to in your PR titled Violent crime drops for the first time since 2018 on 25 February 2025
I also request copies of all communications between, you, your office, the Prime Minister’s office and Minister Goldsmith and his office regarding X account @Charteddaily post and the violent crime data referred to in your PR titled Violent crime drops for the first time since 2018 on 25 February 2025.

I am writing in regard to your recent Official Information Act request of
24 April 2025, seeking:
o How did you become aware of X account @Charteddaily’s post on violent
crime - who informed you and your office of the post? How did you
become aware of the X account @Charteddaily?
o Have you or any of your staff sent or received any messages to and
from X user @Charteddaily I request a copy of all internal instant
communications between you and your office regarding X account
@Charteddaily post and the violent crime data referred to in your PR
titled Violent crime drops for the first time since 2018 on 25
February 2025 I also request copies of all communications between,
you, your office, the Prime Minister’s office and Minister Goldsmith
and his office regarding X account @Charteddaily post and the violent
crime data referred to in your PR titled Violent crime drops for the
first time since 2018 on 25 February 2025.
I am writing to notify you that I am extending the timeframe for response
to your request under the following section of the Act:
• under section 15A(1)(b) of the OIA to enable necessary
consultation on the response given the material in scope of the
request.
We will now respond to your request on or before 30 May 2025, this is an
extension of 5 working days.
You have the right to seek investigation and review of my decision by the
Ombudsman, in accordance with section 28(3) of the Act. The relevant
