Dear WorkSafe New Zealand,
These questions are asked of WorkSafe in its role as the Regulator for the Electricity Act.
Question 1: Are there levies collected from the generation and distribution of electricity which are used by Worksafe?
Question 2: When was the last time and that levies were collected under the Electricity Act which have been used or distributed by Worksafe ?
Question 3: At that time what was the total value of the levies over the last 5 years?
Question 4: What percentage of the levies were spent on operation and improvement of the ‘demand site installations’ (ie that was not spent on generation, the electricity market, transmission or distribution)?
