“I'm making an official information request regarding all details and
terms of the recent 2 billion dollar fund set up by black Rock to invest
in renewable energy in new zealand. And any documents, Reports, memos,
letters, notes, advice and emails relating to this agreement Also all
communication between the department of the prime minister and the cabinet
and black Rock in between 1/1/21 and the 9/8/23”
We received your transferred request on 24/08/2023. On behalf of Hon Dr
Megan Woods I am writing to inform you that the Minister will be extending
the timeframe for this OIA request by 10 working days under section
15A(1)(a) and 15A(1)(b):
a. the request is for a large quantity of official information or
necessitates a search through a large quantity of information and
meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with the
operations of the department or the venture or the Minister of the
Crown or the organisation; and
b. consultations necessary to make a decision on the request are such
that a proper response to the request cannot reasonably be made within
the original time limit.
A response will be provided to you by 5 October 2023.
