DOC Fire Crew information
D. Greenhalgh made this Official Information request to Department of Conservation
Currently waiting for a response from Department of Conservation, they must respond promptly and normally no later than (details and exceptions).
From: D. Greenhalgh
To whom it may concern,
I would like to request the following information regarding fire suppression duties undertaken by DOC staff:
- A regional breakdown of how many DOC staff are trained as fire crews.
- National and Northland-specific organisational charts for fire suppression roles.
- Uniform guidelines for DOC fire crews, if these guidelines exist.
- Rank guidelines for DOC fire crews, if these guidelines exist.
- Northland register of DOC vehicles and equipment available for fire suppression duties.
Please note with regard to the organisational charts, I am not seeking the names of the people currently holding these roles, just the titles of the roles and how they relate to each other in the regional hierarchy.
I understand these may be operationally sensitive documents, so if any information is deemed not to be exempt from release, I ask this be redacted as opposed to the documents being withheld in full, if possible.
Ngā mihi
