From: Jonathon Holmes-Welsh
Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,
Good evening. I want to know why the bike racks have been removed from buses even during the day time? They have been there for many years with no issues so why are they an issue now and realistically what’s the time frame we can expect to have them put back? And how do buses not affected have to also have theirs removed / revoked from public use. And does it not seem over the top to ban them on clear sunny days when headlights are not used? It is heavily affecting Queenstown locals who a majority of live in Fernhill and require the racks to take their bikes back up the hill after riding them down to work.
Yours faithfully,
J
