Dear Whangarei District Council,
In regards to the letter sent to the Whangarei Pistol Club 23rd January 2025 (COM245306) can you please supply all legal advice and internal communication that was supplied to the Council for them to make the decision to uphold their abatement notice against the Whangarei Pistol Club.
You note in your correspondence that the advice is covered by legal privilege. I therefore request under the Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 to release this information so the Whangarei Pistol Club may decide on what direction to move forward.
