reports on its website because they can include sensitive and personal
information that may be distressing to victims, whânau, and others.

Your request is being considered under the Official Information Act 1982
(OIA). 

 

Further to my email of 31 March 2023, requesting a personal email address,
this email is to advise that WorkSafe needs to extend the timeframe of our
response to your request by 10 working days, pursuant to section 15A(1)(a)
of the OIA, as the request is for a large quantity of official information
or necessitates a search through a large quantity of information and
meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with the
operations of WorkSafe.

 

For this reason, you can expect to receive our response no later than 25
April 2023. We will endeavour to respond sooner than this date if
possible. 

 

Please be advised that should you have any concerns regarding this
extension you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate our
decision to extend the timeframe. You can do this by writing
