Dear Office of Human Rights Proceedings,
I co-author a legal practitioners guide on the Privacy Act and assist in teaching a university course on information governance. I am seeking some statistics that used to, but appear no longer to be, published.
Would you please advise how many referrals by the Privacy Commissioner to the Director under the Privacy Act have been made for each complete financial year from 2019/20 onwards. Please also advise the number of referrals so far in the near-complete 2023/24 year.
