Dear Privacy Commissioner,

Please advise how many referrals were made to the Director of Human Rights Proceedings in relation to each financial year since 2019/20. (Previous years are shown in the annual reports.)

I realise that the figures for 2023/24 will not capture the complete financial year.

For the period following the commencement of the Privacy Act 2020 (from 1 December 2020) would you please indicate under which sections of the Act the various referrals were made.
