Emergency employees that includes rank and locations.

 

We note this is similar to a request you sent us via FYI on 27 June 2017
when you asked for ‘a list of names for all Station Officers (SO), Senior
Station Officers (SSO), Deputy Chief Fire Officer (DCFO) and Chief Fire
Officers (CFO) for the Auckland area.’

 

In that release we provided you a list of surnames of those that hold
those ranks, along with their station.

 

We are writing to clarify whether you want us to replicate that list you
have previously received but for all career firefighters nationwide? Or
are you requesting a list of all Fire and Emergency employees,
acknowledging there are personnel within the organisation that do not hold
any rank.

 

Lastly, we would also like to ask if you would be willing to provide us
with your reasons as to why you would like this information? While there
is no requirement for you to give the reasons why you want the
information, it can help us to assess any public interest considerations
favouring release of that information.
