Thank you for your email below. Your follow up query prompted us to
recheck the data we provided you on 29 April 2025. We regret to advise
that there were ommissions for South Island based stations.

 

Please find attached the updated spreadsheet. In respect to the specific
stations you mentioned below:

 

o Nelson and Timaru stations do have sleeping facilities. These have
been updated.
o Westport station was also missing from the list. It has 1 bedroom. The
spreadsheet now includes this.
o The sleeping facilities at both Motueka and Oamaru stations have been
repurposed and no longer are used as bedrooms.

 

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you again for bringing
this to our attention.
