NZTA/Waka Kotahi Subsidy for road sealing
William Foster made this Official Information request to Auckland Transport
The request was partially successful.
      From: William Foster

    Dear Auckland Transport,
The Rodney Local Board is frequently advised that Waka Kotahi/NZTA does not provide any subsidy for seal extension work.
Yet the NZTA WC (work Categories) for the 2021-2024 National Land Transport Programme clearly show that Seal Extensions (WC 325) qualify for the normal FAR for Auckland.
Please provide any documentation you have that shows that Auckland Transport (AT) does not receive any NZTA subsidy for seal extensions and explains why.
Yours faithfully,
William Foster

    Dear AT Official Information (AT),
Thanks Alvin,
Your reply fails to provide a response to my original question.
Murray's reply simply refers me to the NZTA website that cover the 325 Category (which I referred to anyway in my original query) and does not explain why AT has not received any subsidy for seal extensions.
Please provide documents covering AT's full request to NZTA for funding for the most recent period for which funding has been requested and funding has been approved, as well as the most recent request submitted in 2023/24.
Kind Regards
William Foster
