Dear Ministry of Health, Te Whatu Ora
Please provide a list of the hospital buildings throughout NZ that contain
Medical emergency facilities or
surgical facilities or
national reserve stockpiles or
emergency generators and other such facilities required for the above facilities to remain operating after a seismic event
along with the buildings current %nbs at IL4, the date of the last assessment, and the type of seismic assessment completed.
Also
each building that is currently identified as the building intended/likely to be used as
an EOC by the relevant health authority after a seismic event.
Please provide the buildings current %nbs at IL4, the date of the last assessment, and the type of seismic assessment completed.
Alternately if you do not hold/cannot provide the above please provide the last seismic assessment for the buildings identified above.

In terms of medical emergency facilities; I’m interested in those buildings identified as having post disaster functions that contain medical emergency facilities
Probably the quickest way to answer this one is if you review the documentation relative to your seismic assessment programme and advise how you determined which buildings should be assessed at IL3 and which at IL4.
It would be helpful if you shared how you made this determination/definition as part of your OIA release for context.
