Recurrently Funded Clients - Investment Strategies (CNZ)

Nic Lane made this Official Information request to Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa

The request was successful.

From: Nic Lane

Dear Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa,

In a Radio New Zealand interview: Long Term Investment in the Arts the Winners and the Losers (https://www.rnz.co.nz/national/programme...) - 18 August 2019, Cath Cardiff mentioned prior to 2018 Creative New Zealand "didn’t have an overarching investment strategy, we were building that portfolio in a pretty unsustainable way… and there was no overarching rationales to why some were and some weren’t."

Are you able to supply how and when recurrently funded organisations contracts evolved, including any that have since ceased. And if there was in fact any strategies in their development.

Can you please also include a .csv document with investments by each round to these organisations, since Toi Aotearoa started funding them.

Yours faithfully,

Nic Lane [he/him]
