Our team will manage your request under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 which requires us to respond as soon as possible, but no later than 20 working days of receipt.
Please note the period 25 December 2019 to 15 January 2020 inclusive is not considered working days. The 20 working days allowed for your response will be on hold over this period, and will continue again from 16 January. Thank you for your email to the Council received on 8 December 2019 in
which you requested information relating to the Council’s employment
policies.
In your email you requested (as per schedule 7, clause 36 and 36A of the
Local Government Act 2002):
o The Council’s personnel policy,
o The Council’s equal opportunities policy, and
o The Council’s remuneration policy.
With respect to schedule 7, clause 36 and the principles relating to the
Council being a good employer, I have collated the following policies into
one document which is attached.

o Learning & Development
Whilst the Council has no personnel policy per se, it does have a Code of
Conduct which relates to all employees and is attached.
