Subject: Official Information Act request - Breakdown of Traffic
Offences

     Dear New Zealand Police,
    
     I should like to request the following information for the purposes
     of a research project. I may have got some of the terminology
     wrong.
    
     1. A full list of traffic offence codes (infringement offence
     notices, traffic offence notices)showing the code and the linked
     offence.
    
     2. A list of all traffic offences, including offence code (the only
     detail I require)recorded by NZ Police between 1 July 2011 and 30
     June 2012.
    
     If this information could be provided as an Excel spreadsheet to
     facilitate searching and analysis, I would be grateful.
