I refer to your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request below.

I advise that Police have transferred the second part of your request to the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA), as the information to which your request relates is not held by Police but is held by that agency. In these circumstances, we are required by section 14 of the OIA to transfer your request.

This being the part:

I would also like a list of all traffic accidents since 2015 reported to you related to Grenada Drive, Wellington.

The list should include:
Date of incident
Time of incident
Nature of incident, e.g injury accident, fatal accident

You will hear further shortly from NZTA concerning that part of your request, and Police will answer the first part of your request.

Agency Waka Kotahi for response. They will contact you if they require
clarification of your request, more time to respond, or if your request
has been transferred to another organisation to respond to. Unless more
time is required, NZ Transport Agency will send a response to you within
20 working days of receiving your request – in this instance on or before
24 December 2025.
