Information about the number of serious reports on buses
Hugh Davenport made this Official Information request to Wellington Regional Council
The request was partially successful.
From: Hugh Davenport
Dear Wellington Regional Council,
I would like to request information about serious incidents over the period between 1 October 2017 and 31 October 2018. I believe this data is stored in your Resolve system under the tag of 'Serious Reason'. The information I would like is:
1. The number of serious incidents reported to Metlink.
2. The average time it takes the contractors to respond
3. The average time it takes the contractors to have a resolution.
4. The percentage of incidents reported by the public
5. The percentage of incidents reported by the contractors
6. The percentage of incidents involving the NZ Police
7. The percentage of incidents that were escalated from a non serious code
I would like this data split as follows:
a) The whole Metlink network
b) Each contractor
c) The whole Metlink network broken down into months
d) Each contractor broken down into months
Yours faithfully,
Hugh Davenport

Dear Sharon Hornal,
I can limit my request to just the following:
1. The number of serious incidents reported to Metlink.
I would like this data split as follows:
a) The whole Metlink network
b) Each contractor
c) The whole Metlink network broken down into months
d) Each contractor broken down into months
Would this be sufficient to not have substantial collation?
Yours sincerely,
Hugh Davenport
