Dear Luke,

I have sought clarification from Community Board staff in relation to our
phone conversation. I have passed on your question whether there has been
any meeting facilitation or conflict resolution for the
Halswell-Hornby-Riccarton (HHR) Community Board in the current term. I can
reiterate that no Community Board received what is considered counselling.

The HHR Community Board requested an independent facilitator to look at
ways of working and conflict resolution in October 2017. Several sessions
were facilitated in which members spoke as a group and were also offered
the opportunity to meet with the facilitator on their own if required.
Staff were not present at these sessions and no reporting to any member of
the Council staff occurred. Any questions around content etc should be
directed to the Board who agreed to confidentiality around this process.
