Social media, the commons and women

Rich Seager (Account suspended) made this Official Information request to Julie Anne Genter

The request was refused by Julie Anne Genter.

From: Rich Seager (Account suspended)

Dear Julie Anne Genter,

women (and allies) from this country are frequently being banned from social media platforms such as Twitter for simply expressing their understanding of biological science most especially in regard to homo sapien sapiens. They are also being abused on those platforms, their jobs and housing status threatened and not infrequently they are also threatened with violence.

As the minister of women do you have any plans to address these threats and intolerance on the part of those particular gender activists and their allies who are behind this abuse?

As these platforms are essentially part of the privatised commons are there any Government plans to remove these platforms from the private sphere and return this digital version of 'speakers corner' or the 'public hall' to NZ citizens?

Yours faithfully,
Rich Seager

Dear Stuart Baker,

ok thanks. This article may provide some context;

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opini...

Having Californian judges decide Canadian (or New Zealand law) is problematic in my view.

Please now include Andrew Little in this request, advising him of this article, and I advise that I am happy to receive responses from both or either Julie Anne Genter and Andrew Little.

Yours sincerely,

Rich Seager

Dear Anna MacLean, Julie Anne Genter & Andrew Little,

It's a disappointing response. As you undoubtedly understand that it is.

But not terribly surprising either.

Yours sincerely,

Rich Seager

P.S. I don't ascribe to Muldoon's 'improved the intelligence of both countries' re migration. I think it would be great to look at bringing some of the NZ talent that resides overseas home to attend to "climate change shock'. but you're not going to do that with someone else's dystopia..

I've updated the status of this one, not sure why it was classified as successful, when in fact it addressed neither of my two questions.

Actually, both questions were addressed in the response. The answer to both your questions was “no”. Obviously, that is not the answer you wanted, but that is not the same as not providing an answer.
