Request for copy of Remote Client Unit Business Process

Dear Ministry of Social Development,

I request a copy of the Remote Client Unit Business Process document.

This was provided today (in response to another request at this link - https://fyi.org.nz/request/5684-how-many... - with substantial redactions made to the document on the alleged grounds that it was "outside the scope of the inquiry" apparently - which is rubbish, but regardless of the excuse, I am specifically requesting the entire document.

This request is urgent, it is required in order that clients may seek legal advice as soon as possible regarding the implications of the redacted information provided today, given the outrageous limitations imposed on litigants seeking justice.

I am absolutely astounded at the information contained in the document released regarding the Remote Client Unit Business Process. At no time when I was referred to the RCU or even once the placement was confirmed have I received any information on what the RCU was or how it works.

Of note when I was illegally placed with the RCU in 2010 my case manager at the time had written a letter recommending I be transferred back to the Taranaki region in 2011 as they stated I did not meet the criteria and I was not a threat. If it true what is stated in the RCU Business document regarding WINZ make an effort to return clients back to their region, then how come this has not occurred with me?

This shows me WINZ have no intention of transferring me back to the Taranaki region because when you are placed with the RCU there is no way to get a fair go with your case management as all the RCU staff use false names. Of note it has been confirmed District Benefit Review Committee members also use fake names.

WINZ continue to do everything in their power to discredit me and make me look like a nutter and criminal and fraudster and spread lies that I am a violent person. I also have documents show I am being singled out and that WINZ are doing what they can to make sure I am not transferred back to Taranaki region.

I would also like it known that when I made requests for my files and information pertaining to my placement with the RCU no information was forthcoming. However some years later contained in a large file I did receive there were a few documents concerning the referral and placement with the RCU.

I was shocked to find there was the criteria to be placed with the RCU included as well as who approved the referral from the Taranaki region. Not only did I not meet any of the criteria there was no paperwork regarding the transfer to the RCU.

Many of the comments and statements contained in the RCU Business document are untrue and I find it offensive with the labels and untrue allegations WINZ and RCU are spreading about me. In particular trying to make me look like a nutter and criminal and fraudster.

WINZ have also spread untruths and committed perjury in a court of law on more than one occasion including wrongfully stating I am violent and have a propensity for threatening. WINZ have also stated I have been convicted of assault and that I lost a job as a result of an assault conviction. I have never been arrested, charged or convicted of assault.

I would like to know why nothing has been done to WINZ employees and the crown representing MSD that continue to tell lies and commit perjury. If the boot was on the other foot and a beneficiary committed perjury and told lies they would be prosecuted.
