Amount and type of responses to Community Roadwatch submissions

K Perrie made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police

The request was successful.

From: K Perrie

Dear New Zealand Police,

I am interested in finding out how many submissions made via the Community Roadwatch online form are acted on.
The form can be found here:
https://forms.police.govt.nz/forms/commu...

Ideally I would like the information in the format of how many submissions were made each month and how many of these submissions were acted on.

If their are different actions taken when a submission is received I would also like it broken down by that. e.g. In March 2017 there were 100 submissions, 20 of these resulted in a letter, 5 of these resulted in a phone call, 2 resulted in an officer visit.

Yours faithfully,

K Perrie

What period are you wanting covered and I assume you are wanting national
stats?

Secondly around 99% of Road Watch are responded to by way of letter to the
owner.  One per cent is referred to the relevant Police District for
further action.  We don't do phone calls.

Dear Sergeant Soutar,

Thank you for the response. The information you've given me is enough for my purposes - I don't need the data broken down by date. You can close off this request from your end.
Thank you very much for your help.

Yours faithfully,

K Perrie
