Dear Auckland Transport,

My vehicle was towed from a Prohibited Parking Area, as well as receiving a $40 ticket.
The signs were not clear and visible at all, as the one at the end of the zone was obstructed by trees

This temporary restriction in my opinion is not clearly marked.

The infringement notice 3042596026 was given with the $40 fine but the vehicle was also towed.

I have been told that there was a complaint made about the vehicle which resulted in the towing.

Could you please provide information on what the complaint was about, what rules were broken, as there was no blocking of any entry or exit of a residents premises, public safety or any other such rule.

Why are some vehicles subject to the $40 infringement fee and others also incur the towing fee ? Especially upon returning to find a vehicle in my spot has the infringement fee only.
