Section of the webcast recording of the Council Annual Plan debate on 13 May 2016

Hana Blackmore made this Official Information request to Auckland Council

The request was successful.

From: Hana Blackmore

Dear Auckland Council,

A section of the webcast recording of the Annual Plan Debate and proceedings that took place on 13 May 2016 was expunged from the archive record within hours of the end of the debate.

I request that this section is either fully restored to the webcast archive for full public access, or that a copy is provided to me.

Missing section is the final half hour (approx) of the Finance and Performance committee and the start of the the Governing Body meeting. i.e
(a) items 11-12 Part 7 of the F&P... from 6hr 33mins onwards and
(b) the first half of the Governing Body - items 01-11 Part 01 before the record begins again at approx 7hr 03 mins

Yours faithfully,
Hana Blackmore

Dear Auckland Council,

As of 24 June 2016 - the webcast recording of the Council Annual Plan debate on 13th May 2016, that was the subject of my complaint, has NOT been restored to the archive. By law you should have replied by June 14. Please respond.

Dear Ms Blackmore

I understand the section of the meeting you refer to was the Mayor's proposal to discuss non-chemical weed control.
This information has been uploaded both to YouTube and the Auckland Council website.

Dear Official Information,

Thank you Leigh for the prompt reply.

The YouTube clip and the other link provided are of the correct section I have referred to : Items 11-12 part 08. But this webcast has NOT been restored to the archive which is where everyone accesses past webcasts.

If you click on May 13 2016 in the calendar beside Council's webcast page you will see that the webcast archive ends at items 11-12 part 07.

Please ensure item 11-12 part 08 is added to the archive as promised.

Yours sincerely,

Hana Blackmore

Thank you Ms Blackmore

I just wondered, would you mind sending me a link to the page you refer to?

I have checked the Auckland Council website and it appears to be there, however I wonder if I am accessing the information in a slightly different way to you: http://councillive.aucklandcouncil.govt....

If I can get a link from you, I can check whether further work is required to ensure that the information can be accessed.

Dear Official Information,
Hi Leigh - navigation is as follows:

http://www.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/EN/Ab...

box on right hand saying "See also" and clicking on
"Webcasts of meetings on the Council Live website"

brings you to screen that details which committee is next to be live streamed. (eg today it reads 30 June 2016)

go to the calendar on the left subtitled "meetings and agendas" and using the left arrow navigate back to May and click on the 13th for the archive.

Yours sincerely,

Hana Blackmore
