Dear Queen Margaret College,
Re: https://business.qmc.school.nz/i/Real_Es...
You maintain endorsements and commercial marketing relationships with commercial private businesses, providing goodwill and marketing resources.
Please provide:
A) The submission Mighty Rocket Property to be included in your endorsed business listings
B) The total monetary contributions by Mighty Rocket Property that has been paid to you until this date in the direct association with the listing.
C) Documents and regarding who made the decision to create the website which both provides the endorsement to private and otherwise commercial interests
D) Conflicts of interest register by 1) the board and;
E) Conflicts of interest register by 2) the leadership team
I am concerned that goodwill of being a school and taxpayer funding is used to promote commercial businesses that are also associated with leadership team of the school.
Taxpayer funding should not be used to promote private or otherwise commercial interests, especially when associated with the decision makers.
Also if a business that "goes belly up" or is otherwise in liquidation losing people's money that you have endorsed may cost taxpayer money in terms of legal costs if they relied on information that you endorsed on;
G) Risk assessment / registry item that was captured through governance relating to maintaining private or commercial endorsements.
Yours faithfully,
Miss M Quicken
