I have attached an information sheet on our processes and requirements
under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.

LGOIMA requires us to provide you with information no later than 20
working days after receiving your request. Your request will take longer
than usual. This is because the days commencing 20 December and ending 10
January are not counted as working days. This is explained in section 2(1)
of LGOIMA and at the Ombudsman's website

We will respond to your request as soon as possible and in any event no
later than 20 working days after the day your request was received. This
will be by 04/02/2025

 

We can advise that in accordance with section 12 of the Local Government
Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA) we have also partially
transferred your request to Auckland Transport to respond. This is because
the requested information is believed to be closely aligned with the
functions of Auckland Transport

Auckland Transport (AT) acknowledges receipt of your request for
official information dated 17 December 2025 for copy of contracts with
Everest Infrastructure Partners for housing cell towers on footpaths,
berms, street corners etc on any public or council owned land that is
leased (to pony clubs, sports clubs etc).
 

To comply with our statutory obligation, our decision is due to you by 4
February 2026. This is 20 working days after the day your request was
received. If we are unable to make a decision within this timeframe, we
will be in contact. Please note this includes the summer holiday
close-down period from 20 December 2025 to 10 January 2026, as this period
is classed as non-working days.

We will be in contact at our earliest convenience if we require
clarification, or if your requested information is held by another agency.
