I refer to your request of 11 December 2025.  The University’s
response follows.

 

‘If you have this information on hand, and since I am a bit curious,
I would like to know:

1: The amount of "University of Auckland Academic Potential
Scholarship - School Leavers" awarded from 2023-2025.

2: How many of each tier of said scholarship (Tiers 1, 2, 3) were
awarded in 2023-2025.’

The requested information is attached, subject to the following
information:

o The information attached includes the number of scholarships
awarded in each Tier for the years 2023-2025
o Not all scholarship offers result in a scholarship being
awarded:

o A scholarship may be declined
o The intended recipient may not have met the Grade Point
Equivalent (GPE) minimum entry requirement
o An offer may be made at one tier, but the scholarship
eventually awarded may be at a lower or higher tier
