Dear Ministry of Justice,
I request information pertaining to the murder of Palmerston North man Damon O’rourke on 20.01.2024 and related court proceedings.
Specifically the identity of the persons initially charged with murder and later convicted of aggravated robbery, after pleading guilty before trial, in connection to the death of Mr. O’rourke.
I also request details of all available facts/information/evidence relevant to the decisions made in laying the initial murder charge and the grounds for downgrade/plea deal to aggravated robbery for the individuals concerned.
