Kia ora Joseph,
We have done an initial search to identify information that is potentially
in scope of your OIA request for full copies of any and all materials
including (but not limited to) summaries, reports, assessments, briefing
notes and presentations relating to or mentioning the Christchurch mosque
shootings that took place on 15/03/2019 and Brenton Tarrant
(DOB:27/10/1990).
Our search has returned a significant total number of documents that would
need to be individually assessed to confirm whether or not they meet the
scope of your request. It is now clear that as currently framed, this
request will be very difficult to meet without substantial collation or
research and we may have to refuse it under section 18(f) of the OIA.
For your awareness, we have previously released a number of documents that
cover information you are requesting. I have attached these for you to
read. Additionally, a copy of NZSIS’s internal review following the
Christchurch mosque attacks is available online:

Could you please advise if you would like to proceed with your response as
it is currently worded or submit a refined request? We are happy to
provide advice on refinements if required.
Additionally, if the material provided today is sufficient, you are
welcome to cancel your request.
Kind regards
